There is a Groupon today for a deal on the Texas Sphere ride. It's in the New Braunfels area just off I35 in case anyone is interested. Me n Roger and a few others did this a few years back after Trashfest and it was fun!

CHUMMMMMMMM!!!! Now that you have had two days to adjust to the daylight savings spring forward...WAKE UP!! Who wants to join us in a little over two weeks to go camping and diving along the Comal?

Landa Park called me last Friday, and inquired why CHUM hasn't called and booked their campsites. Now don't make me come through your computer screen to convince you to go on this fun weekend trip. We have 3 sites out of the original sites claimed....there are 5 CAMPSITES still unaccounted for. If you would like to be a part of this weekend, now is the time to join the CHUM'O'PEDE, and book your sites.

I am going to release sites 501-504 this Thursday if they are not claimed by then. It doesn't mean they won't be available, it just means they are not under the CHUM reservation block anymore, so other campers can tent along the river.

Yay! Like I was saying last night, making it a day trip is totally doable....if you don't get there in time to make the dive, you can still just hang and then toob it that afternoon.

Not to be a downer, but one thing to keep in mind is that no disposable containers (cans, cups, etc) are allowed on the Comal. If you want to enjoy an adult beverage while you tube, you'll need to come up with a non-disposable way of carrying it with you.

Really was hoping to make this trip and try the Comal for the first time, but it is the same date as I have movers coming to pack everything up. I will just have to wait until Trashfest...
