A CHUM Gallery Primer

Wow, we're already half-way through July! There have been quite a few pics uploaded to the Gallery. We're looking forward to seeing more as people return from various excursions. Don't forget to send me a PM with two of your favorites for the wild card photo contest once you're done uploading.

The CHUM Gallery is easy to overlook, but well worth taking a look at now and then.

Any Tiger Shark can upload images into the Gallery. Tiger Sharks can also post comments on any image in the Gallery.

But wait Sushi Boy, you say. What if I'm not a Tiger Shark? Nurse Sharks and above can also rate any image in the Gallery. How do you rate an image? In the upper right-hand corner of each there's a "Rate Image" button. Click on the box beside it and it'll bring a drop-down menu with ratings for you to select from. As much as I like to see some of my oldies in the Top Rated Images list, it'd be very cool to see some more current ones working their way onto the list too.

We have some great photographers in the club, and they've spent a lot of time uploading images. Poke around from time to time, check out the new images, and browse through past events too. The "Random Images" bar at the bottom of the main Gallery page is a great place to see some of the things we've done in the past, or for an in-depth view at our past trips & events, browse though past years' photos.
