Our November meeting will be a great preview of CHUM's spring trip to the Philippines.

Our speaker will be David Lenderman and he will do a program on the Coral Triangle. This is the area of the world’s highest marine biodiversity and includes the Philippines, Indonesia, Malaysia, PNG and the Solomon Islands. He will focus the discussion on the Philippines and Indonesia. His program will have three parts: 1) Discussion of the incredible bio-diversity of the Coral Triangle and how it is different than diving the Caribbean. 2) A five minute music synced slideshow with underwater images from Bali, Indonesia and the Philippines. 3) Discussion of top tips to improve your underwater photography.

In addition to hearing a great presentation, our meetings are a great way to find out what's happening in the club. At this meeting, we'll be discussing the upcoming holiday party, voting on officer elections, and hearing about upcoming dive outings.

CHUM meets the 3rd Thursday of every month (except for December) at Jake's Sports Bar on Chimney Rock. The meeting officially starts at 7:30 pm with most people arriving between 6:30-7:00 pm to order drinks, food & socialize.

Hope you can join us for our last meeting of the year.
