July's Second Sunday is nearly upon us, and as last time we will be at Bowling Beach at Blue Lagoon at 10 am on July 12th! We have had a great turnout for our prior dive days, and let's continue to build on that momentum!

Anybody and everybody is welcome, whether you are a new member looking to meet dive buddies or are a longtime member looking to get your DAM in, test gear, or just blow bubbles, come on up (or down, depending on where y'all are) and join us on our Monthly Dive Day!

As a heads up, I would recommend bringing a vehicle with decent clearance if possible. There is a chance vehicles with low clearance could bottom out parking directly at the shelter. If you have low clearance, it’s not a problem, as there is plenty of space to park on the pathway next to the shelter!

I had a very enjoyable dive with @wanderwoman feeling our way around the bottom of the lake in about 1 foot viz as expected! Found somebody's snorkel in the mud at 27 ft after which @wanderwoman found us a boat to feel our way around! Then I found a line in the merk which we followed to some wooden structure thing with a skeleton on it,. I added the recovered snorkel to the skelly's outfit for funzies. Another line to another boat before BC issues and my light finally giving out after 51 minutes of dive time. Great fun!

I've really got to try to make it out to the next one. My lazy ass hasn't been in the water since French Polynesia.
