Guest rights plus:
- posting rights in public forums
- rights to post pictures (and comments) in the Galleries
- voting rights on polls.
NO COST - the only requirement is to think of a creative user name and register for the website.
This will also get you on the confidential Private Message list so you can get periodic updates of our goings on.
(We don't share our list with anyone.)
“Tiger Sharks” (paid members)
Nurse Shark rights plus:
- viewing and posting privileges to private forums
- Tiger Sharks get a free CHUM Club t-shirt as well as the chance to buy other CHUM gear
- early sign-ups on CHUM trips and events that have limited space
- access to certain "Tiger Shark Only" trips and events
- discounts on some (but not all) club trips
- use of the CHUM logo on personal websites.
Dues for 1 year (from the date of payment) are only $35, payable in person at the monthly meetings, through Zelle, or by PayPal using this handy link. Zelle payments should be sent through your bank to chum@chumclub.org. Be sure to include your username in the memo for your Zelle payment!
"Remoras"
This is our under-18 access level. CHUM is intended for membership and participation by adults over the age of 18. Anyone under the age of 18 wishing to participate MUST at all events/trips be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. For Tiger Shark only events, the parent/legal guardian in attendance must be a paid Tiger Shark member of CHUM. Signing up and/or registering for a Tiger Shark only event/trip must be done by the parent/legal guardian for themself and their children under 18.
Due to COPPA regulations, individuals under 13 are not allowed to register for the website without written parental permission. If there are any questions about that, please ask their adult parent to contact a CHUM officer to discuss.
