I'm heading to Cozumel in October, for a change this time I was thinking about taking the ferry across to the mainland to do a days Cenotes diving in the Tulumn/Cancun area.
Any recommendations for good operators, those to avoid or general advice?
Thank you.

Operators

I have used Yucatek and Tank-Ha. Both good. Just depended on where I was staying. Used closest one to avoid lugging gear far. Went with Tank ha last week.

Where Diving

They wont go that far south due to fuel costs. Tank Ha was 110. They went to one(forgot name) and Dos Ojos. Dos Ojos is really cool. At some point they come up in a cave where you can inflate your BC and take out your regulator. there are bats flying around on the ceiling. You then resume the dive. The bat cave is near the end of the dive. Its fairly shallow so no big deal.

Take a full 3 mil. Its cold in the cenotes

Probably Chac Mool as it's closest to Playa del Carmen. Other good ones are Tajma Ha and Chikin Ha. Ha is the Mayan word for water.

Think you are right

Tank Ha sells a trip called Cenote Extreme. More expensive as farther south and admission fees are higher. Didnt have time for that one.
