Dive Event - Blue Lagoon on April 24/25, 2010

Hey folks, CHUM is having an official dive event at Blue Lagoon on April 24/25. There will be a concert by Texas songwriter Adam Carroll that Saturday night from 8pm to 10pm. Check out his website, his music clips sound good. As Phil put it, "acoustic folk country beer drinking music". What an awesome place to have a concert! :happyeyepatch2:

Come on out and join us! This event is for everyone from brand new divers to experienced divers. Divers can show up for either day or both days, and even camp overnight. I plan to arrive Saturday, do a few dives, have a few drinks, chat with lots of friends, listen to a great concert, then stagger to my tent. Get up next day and dive some more. :cool:

We have already reserved a shelter site for both days on Main Beach. Let us know if you can attend so we can plan accordingly. We want to have enough sites but not reserve more than we need.

This is going to be a great weekend. Come on folks, throw your name in the hat! Sure, you can always just show up but it sure adds to the excitement to see a big group that is coming. It also makes it easier on us to plan these kinds of events so come on, inspire us to put something together every month!

I'm so excited about this CHUM diving weekend! What a great idea, Mr. President! I hope it turns out to be a great success so then we will want to schedule an event like this every month! :) That means for the month of April, for some CHUMmers, diving and camping together TWICE in the same month! :)

Primitive camping isnt my thing when there are motels nearby. However the wife works on Saturdays so I could just come that day.

After such a fun camping weekend together, I can hardly wait for our next opportunity to get outdoors together and blow more bubbles.

Anyone from our Comal weekend want to jump in on this fun CHUM weekend? It will be very similar to what we did this past weekend, only looking at boats instead of crabfish. :) Can we have a campfire at the Blue Lagoon?

People usually arrive at BL around 9am and I think there will be some of us there at opening although other commitments will have me arriving about 1pm.
