Flower Gardens trip Sunday June 14 - Wednesday June 17

A couple of us are going to the Flower Gardens on the Fling on Sunday June 14 and returning Wednesday June 17.

Thanks for starting this thread @Cajun Diver . I am booked and looking forward to it. It fits nicely between Scotland's WC soccer games v Haiti and Morocco.

Being early in the season hopefully it's a go for the weather, but it allows time to re-book if necessary. I did not take the new Fling insurance refund policy so if it is weathered-off. I'll be rolling it over for later. Fingers crossed.

I just received an email that this trip is canceled . Looks like the remnants of Cristina are forecast to move into the gulf and cause rough seas.

Looking at what dates to change to but unfortunately most of July and early August I already have dive trips planned (Saba, St. Eustatius and then a liveaboard between St. Kitt's and St. Martin).

Yep, I got the same email. I was watching how much weather may be coming up from the SW but was still hoping it would go.
Let’s try and work out a new schedule that works.

I can also do weekends and sooner. Let's get some input for the others and make a call.

I was hoping to get in some Flower Gardens before the El Nino potentially picks up.

Looking at my schedule I could do the weekend of July 3 - 5 - anyone up for that weekend? Looks like cabin G (bunks 29 - 32) and cabin D (bunks 13 - 16) are available. I prefer bunk 6 but it's not available for that trip.

OK, I am booked for the weekend of July 3rd, in my usual bunk on the stairwell.

Hopefully the weather is good or will be rolling it over again.


I'll bring a box of fireworks; I'm sure that's acceptable.
