Good to know. Last time I was there viz wasn't great, but hydrilla was def receding which is a good sign.

Blue Lagoon, 15 Aug - 91 degree bath water, viz 15 feet most places, a little lower in a few spots that had been stirred up.

It was a beautiful day to be hanging out and diving. It was great seeing everyone who came out. Thanks to Earl Grey for organizing it.

I uploaded a few pics to the Gallery.

Mammoth Lake, 27 Sep - Viz was low low low since it was a grey drizzly day above the water. Water temp was 81 degrees.

The find of the day though was the Wayside Pub in Lake Jackson. The fried rueben balls were a tasty appetizer and the milk stout was delicious. :beer Definitely worth checking out next time you're down there.

Twin Lakes, 8 Oct. 41' dive, 32 mins. Not sure I've ever been that deep at Twin Lakes before. 73 degrees at depth.

Hard to imagine, but there's a really dark murk layer at the top of the lake because of Harvey-related churning. Below 10' it's pitch black. I was really glad Richard mentioned bringing dive lights because that was the only way he and I had any chance of finding each other underwater. Viz at depth was about 5'.

Lake Travis, May 12. Surface water 70 degrees, 53 degrees at 110 feet. Viz in upper 45 feet was 20’. Deeper depths the viz dropped to less than 2 feet. Completely dark below 90 feet.
