Hello everyone new to the Forum! Very excited to find a such great scuba group here on Houston!
My name is Rafael, I'm from Brazil and have been living in Katy for the past 6 years...
I'm not an experience diver.. just about 60 dives so far...AOW with some other training..
I'm looking forward to go to Flowers garden this year with this group and next year I planning Red Sea of Philippines.
I will keep an eye on the trips see you!!!

Howdy Rafael, welcome aboard! That's a good level of experience for the Flower Gardens. I believe there's still space available on this weekend's trip if you can get away, but if not, there's our August trip, too.
Our next meeting is on June 15th. I hear there's a great presentation in the works. If you can't make it to Jake's Sports Bar in person, you're always welcome to join via Zoom.
And keep an eye on the Dive Buddy Board if you'd like to go visit a local lake with us. There will be plenty of opportunities for that in the coming weeks and months.

Thank you.. I'm looking for the trip in August... next week I will be in Bahamas (Family vacations.. no diving.. can you believe!!!!!) Although, I am curious about the ocean. It is a vast of creatures living under the water. Well, the salty or high sodium water. I fell in love with the sea. Ever since I was living in Florida. Everywhere around Florida has a beach. Now, I am here!

My name is Gill Saligman and I am a 20-year-old student at Drexel University in Philadelphia. One thing Drexel is known for is their Co-op program, and I have been lucky enough to get a Co-op job for 6 months in Webster.
I will hopefully be there by September 15th, and I am looking for dive buddies and diving locations to go to on weekends. I have my AOW certification. Outside of Scuba, I do a lot of outdoor sport/lead climbing, indoor rock climbing, and running.
