New To CHUM

Hi all!
Came down to the Stag's Head on the 17th with my fiancee Marcia and met some of you guys. We've been in Houston for a few weeks after living in Sharm El Sheikh, in the Egyptian Red Sea for the past 3.5 years. I worked at Oonas Dive Club (PADI International Dive Centre of the year!) and Marcia was the GM of the Camel Bar.

Anyway, was nice meeting you and hope to see you again!

Hi guys! Im Chris.

New guy both to Chum and to Houston but have done a little diving before.

Found this place when Trish signed up on a motorcycle board WFOriders that I am on. She mentioned being with a really cool group of divers and I thought I would check it out. Looks like a really cool site and group.

I havent dove in over a year unfortunately but the last time I did was in the beautiful Roatan. Look forward to hopefully meeting some of yall and even getting wet sometime!

And sushi boy I am a salt water aggie by education but All AGGIE by heart lol.

That is where my screen name came from was I graduated from TAMU-CC in 04. But on another note of there is ever a dive around Port-A/ Rockport area we have a fishing house down there with plenty of sleeping places that is always open to everyone!

Welcome, Tamucc! If I dare interject, the COMAL TRIP is a ROCKIN' good time. We'd love to have you join us! It would be a great time to really get to know what CHUM is all about! And since your not afraid of noise being a fan of motorcycles -- campsite 501 is still free.

I really want to try and make the Comal trip with yall. I am suppoed to be at a wedding that weekend but we will see how that goes. Priorities you know lol.

And as far as the noise...and if it is like any other river float trip I have ever been on...I would be good just making it back to the tent to go to sleep that if I made it a hurricane could come thru and it wouldnt wake me up lol.

Hello everyone I have been a diver since 1998 and I have done 326 as of this last week in Key Largo, FL. I have been from the West coast to the East coast and have done a few cave dives as well. My whole family is scuba certified and we all just got back from Florida. We rented a beach house as well as our own boat and did all of our own diving when we wanted and it was a blast. Hey All,

Don't forget the CHUM meeting this Thursday at the Stags Head Pub. We'll start about 7:30 but show up when you can. This months speaker is Chuck Noe who will be talking about the exploration and study of the underwater cave Jacobs Well. There will of course be the usual food, drink and chat, hope to see you there.

We will also be taking orders for the CHUM Performance Tees.

Greetings everyone, I'm a newbie who started diving just over a year ago. Its something I always wanted to do but never had the time or $$$ until the kids grew up and moved out...which made the wife and I very happy! Don't get me wrong, we love our kids...we just love them even more now that they're gone!
