CHUM toured NASA's Neutral Buoyancy Lab in 2006 and then again in June this year. The event was so popular we had a hefty waitlist and so we're going back for more.

A reminder of what we're visiting... this is a HUGE pool and hangar near Johnson Space Center that has a huge mockup of the International Space Station and a mockup of lunar terrain that the Artemis astronauts are just starting to use.

We've booked our tour for Monday November 20th at 8:30 am (prompt!). This is the Monday before Thanksgiving, Astronaut training will again be taking place.
Regrettably this tour is only open to US Citizens due to NASA regulations.
The location is 13000 Space Center Blvd.
You must have closed-toed shoes.

The tours last about an hour - ours was a little longer last time since the tour guides indulged a LOT of questions and let us linger in the second control room watching the astronauts. We'll do an early lunch afterwards, place to be determined.

Group size is limited to 15 people, we're trying to get more spots but its not clear if that's possible.
What we're going to do is start the list off with the people who were waitlisted last time. If you were waitlisted last time YOU HAVE UNTIL THE AUGUST CHUM MEETING TO CONFIRM (August 17th), if we don't hear from you by then we'll assume you're not able to make it.

So book off work for Thanksgiving a little early and join us on a unique experience.

Count me in. Will be a busy couple of weeks of travel but that's the way it's going to be.

Just a reminder that this month's Meeting is on Thursday at the usual time and place. If you were automatically added to this trip from the waiting list of the last NBL visit we need to hear affirmatively from you by then to confirm your place.
