On the way back, I'm arriving in Istanbul at 4:20 pm on Nov 12th. Is there anybody on a similar flight who is interested in splitting transportation to Sultanahmet?

I think we're on the same flight, I thought it was 3:30pm but surely there aren't two going in from Sharm. I mentioned in an earlier post we are staying at a hotel about 4 blocks from yours in Sultanahmet. From my research, it looked a lot cheaper to just get a taxi from the stand at airport than pre-arrange. They are metered so it shouldn't add but a buck or two for the two stops.

I think most or all of us are leaving Friday night on the same flight. Current flight shows departure at 10:15pm. We are planning to get there early and hang at the United Club. Anyone else?

We never unpacked our dive bags since returning from Cozumel last month. But that stricter carry-on weight limit is causing some concern. My "personal item" is my camera bag, limited to 4kg, and is currently at 4.5kg with my tablet still not in there. Might have to take fewer batteries. The "carry on" is limited to 8kg. Haven't weighed it yet but it's usually well over that.
