SS United States tentatively set to depart Mobile in April, officials say

It'll be nice to dive it within months of sinking to see it nice and clean, and be able to note the changes as we dive it in the following years. We did that with the Oriskany. A few weeks after sinking it was clean bare metal. A year later it was covered in peach fuzz and small barnacles. Several years later it was completely encrusted.

That video was more like a documentary than your typical ill-informed news report. She put in the work. I felt like I was watching a CHUM speaker giving a zoom presentation.
