Thank you for your CHUM 2018 Diver of the Year nominations*.

Siren
Even though they don’t live in Houston and can’t make most CHUM events, she works tirelessly year in and year out to organize the annual CHUM Claims the Comal event. She does a top-notch job of running that event and could teach a class on how to properly lead a trip from start to finish. Her enthusiasm is infectious. The success and longevity of the Comal event is a testament to the effort she puts in coordinating, communicating and cheerleading. On top of that, she keep us informed and entertained by their DAM CHUMmer pursuits around the country.
PegLeg
In everything except kickboxing, Peg Leg sets an example we should all follow. He has been steadily building his dive skills after sacrificing his leg to the sport of diving. He hosted the wonderful BlueStem Dreams BBQ this Spring and is leading the Red Sea trip next year. He's also a Dam Chummer and routinely makes the long drive to Houston for meetings and social activities. We even caught him numerous times helping people with equipment problems and sharing his extra equipment with them.
*We will be serving free beer at the christmas party to anyone who submitted a nominee, and the nominees themselves, and anyone who votes, and anyone who considers voting but is too lazy to send me a PM.
