24% and I dove Spring Lake for the last time this year! Our JUNE dives are done!! I saw my 1st Fountain Darter, one of the endangered species protected at the Meadows Center. It was a great dive! Love that cool, crystal water, on a weekday. They were preparing the grounds for the kayak launch today - some kind of boating race from the headwaters there in San Marcos all the way to the Gulf of Mexico. Supposed to take them 12 days. Anyway, it looked like they were preparing for a MAJOR event there today and this weekend.
Speaking of "cool" water - next month's dives, for us, will be in the GREAT LAKES!! WOOT WOOT! Heading north next Tuesday, and won't be back in Texas till January. LOVE MY CHUMMERS!

June dive is logged. Birddog and I did a couple of dives at BL. 1st dive trying out a change of undergarment, yes it was warm. 2nd dive in 3mm was much more comfortable.
Water temp 80, went into the shallows on the south side end of lagoon one and was rewarded with viz 30ft plus.

ReefHound and watermonkee completed June dives at the Catfish area of Spring Lake yesterday, 6/11. Beautiful weather and the usual crystal clear, easy, refreshing dive.
