Just signed up today. Am aworking on my advanced course at the moment. I need to meet more divers. I already know a couple of you.

Back in in the summer of 91, I spent 2 months on the Texas Clipper, so I might like to dive her for nostagia sake. I already know the layout.

Also I just returned from 3 weeks in Indonesia with a 10 day stint at Wakatobi. I loved the nudibranchs, hence the handle.

Welcome, nudilover!

I just joined in October. I wanted to not only meet more divers, but to dive more. I've succeeded on both fronts. In fact, I was among the first group to dive the clipper. Woohoo! Or should I say, "Whoop!"

You should plan on attending the Xmas party on the 8th!

I'm originally from Connecticut, moved down to Houston in 2005 to get my MBA from Rice. I graduated in May and work as a Financial & Litigation Consultant. I'm also a scuba instructor and teach when I can.

I enjoy diving in warmer, clearer water, though I did most of my training in Long Island Sound. I've been to Costa Rica, Roatan, Turks & Caicos, and the Flower Gardens since I moved down here. I also got the opportunity to dive the Red Sea in May. I love to travel and explore new dive locations.

I was a member of CHUM when I first moved here, but lost touch. Now I'm back and look forward to meeting you all.

hello friends!

my name is Patrick, and i was referred to CHUM by one Lisa Devereaux. i'm a PADI Open Water Diver, but i haven't been diving in almost 4 years! i hope to get back into diving through this club and to make some new friends around town!

Hey! That was quick! I'm glad you decided to join us here, and I hope you will come for the meeting. The HPD divers are the best guests we have every year! I'm sure you'll find the CHUMmers to be a great group of folks, especially if you like beer.

Hi Welcome to the club, hope to see you at a meeting soon. If you want to dive, the club can definitely help with that. Most of us are pretty easily persuaded to make last minute dive trips to the lakes and other sites near by, or even the FL panhandle in some cases.

Hi! I am Amanda. You may have met me at the November meeting, or the Christmas Party. I have finally made my way onto the website, and with the help of a few of you (thanks Captain HardHead) have chosen the name "Siren." I am not yet a certified diver, but it is on my to-do list for 2008. Last August I moved to Houston from St. Louis, and I am currently in my first year as a grad student at Rice University studying opera.

Hi Y'all

My name is Karl and I am a PADI certified Open Water diver....working on Advanced....whenever I have the time (hey, gotta make a living, right?) I have some pics from FL, Keys. I'll post when I figure it out. hopefully, will meet some people at the Happy Hour or the show this weekend. k
